Common questions

What counts as a certificate?

Any certificate issued or tracked by CertForge counts. Certificates you discover via CT log scanning or CA connectors are tracked separately and do not count against your certificate limit.

Can I move from cloud to self-hosted?

Yes. Your domain profiles, policies, audit trail, and team configuration export as a standard JSON snapshot you can import into your self-hosted deployment.

Is EU West GDPR-compliant?

Yes. EU West stores all certificate data, private keys, and audit trail in Frankfurt. No data is replicated to US East. GDPR DPA available on request.

How does MSP billing work?

MSP partners are billed at a discounted per-customer rate. You can pull per-org usage via the billing API to integrate into your own invoicing pipeline. Contact partners@certgov.app for details.

What's included in the free tier?

Full ACME endpoint, up to 100 certificates, 25 domains, and 2 users. Auto-approve only — manual approval workflows require Pro or above.

Do you offer annual discounts?
